For 2017, Nordstrom’s holiday creative direction centered around honoring the brand’s Scandinavian heritage. We embraced the modernity, simplicity and appreciation for nature that together serve as hallmarks of Scandinavian design. The season was brought to life via playful interpretations of classic Nordic lines, themes and holiday icons, employing both unexpected and time-honored holiday colors in the artwork of illustrator Sanna Annuka.
